For her exhibitions, Out Lookers at P·P·O·W and Final Resting Face at Pace Prints, Robin F. Williams created two bodies of work in parallel, which are linked less by appearance than by Williams' playful explorations of process and means of representation.

As a painter, Williams is fundamentally experimental, using a wide breadth of unorthodox techniques. Her engagement with printmaking began in 2019 when she created her first body of monoprints with Pace Prints, a project which she approached with characteristic verve, but also an attentive respect for the medium and its relative unfamiliarity to her. She returned to the print shop in early 2020 to begin a new body of work, leaping off from the discoveries of the first project and working with master intaglio printer Sarah Carpenter to create her first series of etchings. In August 2021, they met in the print shop to reflect on their collaboration.

Williams' exhibition of prints, Final Resting Face, continues through November 27, 2021, at Pace Prints, 521 West 26th Street.  Saturday, November 13, is the final day to see Out Lookers at P·P·O·W, 392 Broadway.
