Will Cotton, George Condo, Carroll Dunham and Inka Essenhigh in "Disturbing Innocence"

Pace Prints alumni Will Cotton, George Condo, Carroll Dunham and Inka Essenhigh will be featured in Disturbing Innocence, curated by Eric Fischl and presented by The FLAG Art Foundation. The exhibition will be on view on FLAG’s 9th floor, October 25, 2014–January 31, 2015.

Disturbing Innocence features over fifty artists using surrogate imagery such as dolls and mannequins to pose questions regarding the "social constructs of youth, beauty, transformation, violence, sexuality, gender, identity, and loneliness."

With a diverse group of both historical and contemporary artists, the exhibition creates an escapist world which aims to subvert the values and pretensions of polite society.
