Shahzia Sikander's "Havah...to breathe, air, life" at the University of Houston

Following its 2023 debut at Madison Square Park in New York City, Shahzia Sikander's Havah…to breathe, air, life officially opens at the University of Houston. The multimedia exhibition features monumental outdoor works that challenge traditional symbols of power, justice, and female representation in public monuments.  

Havah…to breathe, air, life will be on view at Cullen Family Plaza from February 28th, 2024 through October 31st, 2024.
