Wangechi Mutu: A Fantastic Journey at the Mary & Leigh Block Museum

The Brooklyn Museum’s Wangechi Mutu: A Fantastic Journey will travel to the Mary & Leigh Block Museum this fall. The exhibition—the artist’s first survey in the United States—is comprised of more than 50 works ranging from the artist’s signature collages to rare early works, such as Mutu’s first animation. The show also features an environmental installation and monumental wall drawing.

Wangechi Mutu: A Fantastic Journey will be on view September 19—December 7, opening reception September 27, 2014, 2-5pm.
